Interesting video from Fuse with Pete Rock and his huge record collection. It’s cool to hear him talk about some of the stuff he has on wax and how much the music means to him personally. The idea of him finding the sample to TROY by simply checking out the cover and deciding to play it is funny to me, what a fortunate find if that’s true! He notes the song as “career defining” and if I am understanding what he’s saying correctly I think that’s pretty incredible. Someday I hope to travel the world and dig like he describes in the video too, it would be sweet to check out all the little shops and find those treasures that he talks about.
