One of my favorite artists over at Stones Throw giving one hell of a performance for the Boiler Room. I don’t think I have ever seen such a crazy DJ set before. He’s spinning some amazing tunes while at certain points grabbing the mic to sing and even messing around with the electric drum set all at the same time. Very exciting performance, I hope I get the chance to see him live some day.
Some highlights at 5:40-9:30 (JP’s live versions of We’re Through are always awesome), 11:40-13:10 (fantastic song, wish I knew what track this is. JP singing with it is great), 18:30-21:00 (Live drums!), 25:15-26:35 (One of my favorite JP songs.), 29:45-31:15 (Funky jam), 34:15-35:20 (My favorite song of the whole performance. JP really got into this one.), and finally 42:35 to the very end… Truly an amazing 45 minutes of music.
Man there are a lot of highlights, these are mainly for my own reference by now… Just watch the whole damn thing already, you will be entertained!
